Svalbard Science Forum allocates funding for fieldwork in Svalbard to
Master students, PhD students and researchers from, or collaborating with, Norwegian institutions.
The main priority is to support PhD and MSc
students collecting field data necessary to complete their research projects
and also researchers not established in Svalbard. The scholarship covers
additional
costs due to the fieldwork location in Svalbard.From this year all application will go through the
electronic application module from the Research Counsil of Norway. Please
read the How-to and terms & conditions carefully before starting the
application process.

AFG Reporting:
The AFG scientific report should be submitted to SSF electronically
(post@svalbardscienceforum.no),
as a PDF
in English, following the template (below) before November 30th of the year the
fund was delivered. From next year a electronic reporting modul will be in
place.
